Beyond Greenville- Wellness
Haiti Eye Clinic: Contributions help fund a full-time ophthalmologist serving over 300 patients per week in addition to performing 10 to 20 surgeries. Our support and assistance helps thousands of Haitians to literally see more clearly the works of God. Contact: Darrell Jervey, M.D. E-mail: edjwill@aol.com
Water Project: Water turbine and pipes installed and running water now available in Cange for the first time. This is the most important advancement in the infrastructure that has been made there. A water filtration system was installed on 2/2006 which, for the first time, provides safe drinking water in the mission compound.

Haiti Dental: The people of the central plateau area of Haiti generally have been undernourished or malnourished and this has impacted dental health as well as many other dimensions of health. Nutritional problems are worsened by the presence of dental and gingival infections; the process of eating is painful for these people and food which is eaten is often chosen due to its softness, leading to excess starch in their diets - and worsening malnutrition. Initial dental care in Cange overwhelmingly involved only the extraction of the remains of teeth and the treatment of gingival abscesses.
