Volunteer Opportunities at United Ministries
United Ministries provides life changing opportunities for people in Greenville who lack education, employment skills, are in financial crisis, or are homeless. There are a wide assortment of volunteer opportunities available at United Ministries. Most of the programs use volunteers Monday through Friday mornings 8-12. Some volunteers work one morning every week, but others work every other week.
Opportunity- Stocking pantry shelves
Packing grocery bags
Interviewing participants for emergency assistance
Pulling files and filing files
Data input
Handout out hygiene supplies at the Place of Hope
Teaching/tutoring adults who are studying for their GED
Leading workshops on employment skills
Helping label newsletters (2nd Thursdays)
Time Commitment- Monday-Friday mornings 8-12. Volunteers typically work one morning a week or one morning every other week.
