Volunteer Opportunities at St. Francis Hispanic Ministries

St. Francis Hispanic Ministries serves to help with the growing Hispanic population in Greenville.  An after school program was launched for 55 children of low-income Hispanic families in January 2007.  The program provides homework assistance, tutoring, sports and educational games.

Opportunity-     Tutors are needed to assist children with math and reading homework weekdays between 2:30-6:00pm.  Volunteers do not need to be bilingual.  All children speak English.

Time Commitment-     Once or twice a week for an hour.
