Annual Giving 2020

2020 Annual Giving Campaign Goals

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:21

Several years ago, we were going through some life changing events as a family and we believe that God lead us to this Parish.    In the beginning, Christ Church served as a sanctuary for a few hours on Sundays, friendships were made, smiling faces and Godís grace helped guide and navigate us through these enduring times. We are forever grateful to everyone for all the love and support given to us and making this place our church home.  As our lives have transformed and evolved, we are so blessed to continue to grow as Episcopalians and serve our church.
As our church celebrates our bicentennial it is humbling and offers a sense of pride as we reflect back on where we have come and what our future holds.  During the past 200 years, our Church has become a lighthouse in our community by either starting or contributing to: Project Host, Jasmine Road, Greenville Free Medical Clinic, Loathes and Fishes, A Childs Haven.  These are just a few examples of service projects that were made possible by our yearly pledges.
The most important reason we give is to glorify God so his ministries can be served in our Church and community.  All that we have is Godís and we feel that it is His for us give back.
As we celebrate 200 impactful years of serving and praising God here on our campus, let us not forgot the legacy of sacrifices and commitment of our ancestorís with helping others. Let us pass this same torch of compassion and love to the next generation of worshippers.  Please pray, reflect and open your hearts to committing to your 2020 pledge!

Faithfully,
Tracey and Ashley Underwood, 2020 Annual Giving Campaign Co-Chairs
