Gifts of Cash in the Worship Offering

The worship offering is the most traditional method of making a gift to God's work at our church.  When every worshipper makes a gift from the heart, we become a community of givers blessed in worship.  Even if you make your gifts by electronic transfer or stock transfer, making a small cash offering at every worship service bonds us all together as a community.  To ensure your cash gifts are credited to your account, please use an offering envelope in the pew and write your name (and envelope number if you know it, or address) on the envelope.

***IMPORTANT TAX NOTE FOR 2007:  All cash donations to charities must now be supported by a dated bank record or a dated receipt.  In order to receive your tax credit for cash gifts, you MUST put the cash gift in a pew envelope as indicated above.***
