Option #3: Book Adventure
Suggested Donation: $40
Do you remember your first trip to a book store where you picked out a brand new book? Let’s help make that possible for the children we serve in the Sterling Community also. Mail a check made payable to “Christ Church” with “Sterling Book Fund” in the memo line, to the attention of Debbie Rice. Then, in May you are most welcome to come with us to help the kids pick out their books.
Option #4: Summer Adventure Trip
Suggested Donation: $40
We will be taking kids in the Sterling Torch Program on a summer adventure trip. In recent years we have zip-lined down the Saluda Gorge, kayaked, whitewater rafted, and visited the Biltmore House. Help us do it again this summer by sending your check made payable to “Christ Church” with “Sterling Adventure Fund” in the memo line, to the attention of Debbie Rice. Please also consider coming with us this summer as a chaperone on our adventure trip.
Option #5: Donate your time during Angel Tree and Beyond
We need volunteers to help with the Angel Tree program, including sign up and distribution of angels and stockings, donation deliveries, and gift wrapping volunteers to help Sterling parents December 14- 16. Throughout the rest of the year, we need volunteers to accompany children on field trips and to serve as tutors.
If you are sending in a donation, please mail a check to Christ Church,
Attn: Debbie Rice, 10 N. Church Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Checks should be made payable to Christ Church with “Sterling Book (or Adventure) Fund” in the memo line. For more information, contact Debbie Rice, 282.3108.
