Harrison McLeod
Rector

Harrison McLeod is a life-long Episcopalian, baptized at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, AL and confirmed at Saint Luke's Church in Mountain Brook, AL. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and received his M. Div. degree from Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest. Learn more about Harrison.

Bob Chiles
Associate for Pastoral Care

Bob grew up in the upstate, received an undergraduate degree in philosophy at Furman University, and spent fifteen years as a woodworker before attending Seabury-Western Seminary. Bob has been married to his wife Chris for over 35 years and they have children in Korea, Texas, Columbia, and Hendersonville. He has been a priest for twenty years, serving churches in North Augusta, SC, Elkhart IN, and most recently in Columbia, SC. Bob’s favorite scripture is Romans 8:38-39. He enjoys photography, hiking & camping, and especially “O” scale electric trains. Learn more about Bob.

Keith Turbeville
Associate for Faith Development
Director of High School Ministry

Keith comes to us from Buda, Texas (outside of Austin), where he was the rector for Saint Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in the Diocese of West Texas. Keith is a native South Carolinian, raised in Charleston, before moving to the Panama Canal Zone, the Midwest and then Washington, DC with his family. Learn more about Keith.

Peter Hawes
Assistant Priest

A graduate of the University of North Carolina and the University of the South, Peter grew up in suburban New York City (raised by his southern parents) and spent several years in the Army and employed in the airline and travel industry before attending seminary in 1975. He served parishes in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina before retiring in 2006. Peter is married to Anna Cay of Asheville, NC and they have three children and six grandchildren. The Hawes live in Tryon, North Carolina.

Jeffrey Meadowcroft
Associate for Pastoral Care

Jeffrey grew up in downtown Charleston, where his father was the rector of Grace Church, and his mother the curator of the Historic Charleston Foundation. He graduated from Sewanee Military Academy and the University of South Carolina before attending Virginia Theological Seminary and receiving his master's degree from The University of Michigan. He has served parishes in South Carolina, Michigan and New York, and was chaplain at Michigan State University. Jeffrey and his wife, Jennie, have lived in downtown Greenville since 2010 and enjoy traveling, remodeling their home and gardening. Jeffrey is excited to be at Christ Church and continue his path in ministry through serving our parish.

Donald Hultstrand
Bishop-in-Residence

Don is the retired Bishop of Springfield, Illinois. Before that he served churches in Minnesota, Ohio, Colorado, Pennsylvania and Missouri. He was Executive Director of the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer and President of the Living Church. He graduated from Macalester College and Bexley Hall Seminary. Don holds Doctor of Divinity degrees from Nashotah House and Bexley Hall.

He is the author of several books including God Shall Wipe Away All Tears, Revelations of Effective Prayer, Life in the Spirit, Holy Living Today and The Praying Church.
