Weddings and Funerals

The Book of Common Prayer defines Holy Matrimony as "a solemn and public covenant between a man and a woman in the presence of God." In the Episcopal Church it is required that at least one of parties must be a baptized Christian. At Christ Church at least one of the persons wishing to be married at Christ Church must have been a member in good standing of the parish for one year or longer.

The very first step toward planning a wedding at Christ Church is for a couple to make an appointment with Sarah Marczynski, Program Coordinator for Music & Liturgy.

Please contact Lisa Hunt, 282.3105, for additional questions regarding funeral planning.
