Weddings

The Book of Common Prayer defines Holy Matrimony as "a solemn and public covenant between a man and a woman in the presence of God." In the Episcopal Church it is required that at least one of parties must be a baptized Christian.  At Christ Church at least one of the persons wishing to be married at Christ Church must have been a member in good standing of the parish for one year or longer.

The very first step toward planning a wedding at Christ Church is for a couple to make an appointment with Leslie Provence, Liturgical Assistant.

Funerals 

There will be a memorial service for Doris Prince on Wednesday, June 19 at 2:30 PM in Markley Chapel.

There will be a funeral service for Martha Wilson on Thursday, June 20 at 2:00 PM in the Church. The burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
