Giving Tuesday

December 1 is Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

Christ Church has set a $15,000 goal to help the Greenville Free Medical Clinic, Project Host, and United Ministries. Our parish has been a longtime supporter of these agencies which are providing very important emergency assistance to our brothers and sisters in the Greenville community. Each of these agencies count on financial donations and volunteers, both of which are down right now. However, the demand for their services has grown tremendously. Letís help support these agencies during this critical time!

  • Greenville Free Medical Clinic provides free medical and dental care to residents of Greenville County who have no health insurance and donít qualify for Medicaid.
  • Project Host provides 250-500 meals a day to the hungry, six days a week. They serve meals to clients at their Academy Street location or by taking their food truck directly to the hungry in Greenville County. Project Host also provides job training through the CC Pearce Culinary School.
  • United Ministries provides assistance to the homeless and under-served in our community. The services they provide include a food pantry, emergency assistance with bills and transportation, job and GED training, a day shelter for the homeless, and transitional housing through IHN.
