Pastoral Care: Support

Caregiver Support Group

Feeling tired, overwhelmed, or alone? We can help. The Caregiver Support Group will give you an opportunity to be with others in similar situations which may help you feel less overwhelmed and less alone.  Caregiver Support Group provides mutual support and encouragement to each other regarding physical or emotional care of our relatives or family members who have physical limitations, limitations of aging or dementia. Some of us are full-time caregivers for family members and others are part-time caregivers. Some of our relatives are at home with us, some at home with another relative, and some are in nursing homes or assisted living.  Regardless of the care you offer, it is important to have a community of others going through the same situation.

Visit our group and see if we have anything you need. We have no official membership and don’t take attendance, so you are free to come and go as you see fit. This group meets every Thursday from 1:30 - 2:30 PM in the Thomas Library of the Parish House.
