The mission of the parish nurse ministry is to care for parishioners of Christ Church who have on-going medical needs or who have recently been in the hospital. We visit people in the hospital or at home, follow-up by visits or phone calls, take parishioners to appointments with doctors or other activities that may be helpful due to a person’s medical situation.
Additionally, we have quarterly new baby and mom get-togethers to introduce moms with new babies to each other and our nursery personnel and facility. We sponsor health promotion events such as a yearly flu shot clinic, CPR/AED training, blood drives and blood pressure monitoring.
