Mission Statement

God calls us
To touch the lives of the homebound
with kindness and compassion.

To encourage one another as a family of faith.

To extend to every brother and sister in Christ
the gift of Christian friendship.

"Friends In Christ."
You may be familiar with this phrase as we are all called
to be friends in Christ, but this is also the name of our new ministry to serve our homebound members.
We have a large number of our members who are unable to join us for church services or any of the other activities that we enjoy as a community of believers. We can not imagine what it would be like to be unable to attend church, Bible studies, our wonderful fellowship gatherings, or any of the other engaging opportunities that make us a Christian community.

Like most ministries, Friends in Christ was born out of a need to reach out to our brothers and sisters in Christ who have become isolated from the church due to health concerns. We are called to be vessels of God's love by spending time visiting on a regular basis to show the homebound how important they are to our Christian family.
What a great opportunity to make new friends, or rekindle lost friendships by visiting the homebound one time a month.

Please pray for this ministry as we seek to meet the needs of the homebound of this church.
