Dear Christ Church Family, My Presbyterian maternal grandmother loved the Bible. More than just about anything else in the world, she loved sharing Bible stories with her ten grandchildren. While, the stories of Jesus' life were her favorite, she also treasured the Old Testament. Years before I entered seminary she taught me to recite the books of the Old Testament by singing a little jingle. Like my grandmother, I have always loved the Old Testament, and the creation story from the first chapter of Genesis is one of my favorite slices from Scripture. Read More
