12:30 - 2:30 PM in 15-minute increments, the AV Room and Room 222

The Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) is an original ground-breaking, evidence-based, and scientifically proven method of building a greater understanding of dementia.  During a Virtual Dementia Tour experience, trained facilitators guide participants outfitted with patented devices that alter their senses while they try to complete common everyday tasks and exercises. The Tour enables one to experience the physical and mental challenges those with dementia face, and to use the experience to provide better person-centered care and provides greater understanding and builds empathy. Refreshments provided. Contact Annette Cook, 672.4141, to register or for more information.
