Faith Development: Senior Adults

Through trips, classes, lunches and programs we engage each other and challenge ourselves to continue our transformational encounters with Christ. Christ Church Senior Adults enjoy fellowship and Christian community while blessing the parish and city with our depth of spiritual maturity and wisdom.

Small Groups

We offer several opportunities to meet others and grow in your faith through study and discussion.  Read about the Small Groups offered throughout the week.

Explorer’s Club: February 14, 11:45 AM
Flat Rock Grill in Cherrydale

Parishioners interested in exploring world religions and lesser known aspects of Christianity are encouraged to attend. This month we’ll discuss Lakota Native American belief systems. Reservations are due by 4:00 PM the day before to Annette Cook, 672.4141.

At the home of Vicki Sturtevant, 848 Cleveland Street, 29601. All Christ Church women are invited to participate. We focus on charity, fellowship and informed participation in church and community.

Quilted Hugs: February 20, 1:30 - 4:30 PM
Earle Conference Room

If you can sew a straight line you can make a quilt for a child in the hospital. Bring your sewing machine or pick-up a quilt kit to sew at home. Beginners are welcome. If you cannot sew, you can cut fabric.

Lunch Bunch: February 28, 11:30 AM
Stella’s Bistro on Fairview Road, Simpsonville

Old and new friends meet monthly for fellowship and lunch. Reservations are due by noon the day before to Annette Cook, 672.4141.
