We will be looking at the lectionary assigned each week. We are excited about this NEW offering and encourage you to join us.

Grounded in Scripture, this class reflects on past and present racial injustices, and fosters conversation about how power and privilege have contributed to racial inequity. The program includes wisdom from community advocates, and tools to help you discern action steps for working toward an end to racism. One of the adult retreats/conferences we offer through Christ Church is Cursillo. “Cursillo” is a Spanish word meaning “short course.” Cursillo Weekends are offered Thursday night through Sunday afternoons three times a year at the Gravatt Camp and Conference near Aiken, SC.

A Cursillo Weekend is a time of encouragement and learning in a positive and spiritual environment for individuals or couples who are already participating members of the Church. Great meals, uplifting music and meaningful worship, short teachings by priest and lay persons, and small group time combine for a fulfilling weekend.

Small Groups

Seeking something else? Perhaps a small group is just what you've been searching for! A Small Group is a group of about 12 adults who meet regularly (twice a month would be typical) for Christian fellowship, study, prayer, and service. For more information contact Chantal Smith.
