Stewardship

"All things come of thee, O Lord, and of thine own have we given thee."

With these familiar words we acknowledge that all we have in the way of materials, goods and talents are gifts from God. Stewardship requires that we contribute to God's work in and through Christ Church, not only with our time, varied abilities and talents, but that we prayerfully make a commitment of our financial support.

Being a good steward means using your resources faithfully. We encourage you to think of giving to the church as a spiritual discipline that expresses your thanks for the many blessings God has given to you and deepens your relationship with God. When we give sacrificially, we are giving back to God what is already his.

If you have questions or would like more information about any of these giving options, call the Church at 864.271.8773.

Ways to Give

Give a gift today:

The simplest way to support Christ Church and its ministries is through cash gifts. But creative gifts of assets can include stocks, bonds, and property (real estate and personal property such as artwork, cars, silver). These gifts not only provide you with charitable deductions, but often offer additional tax savings as well. Download instructions for making a stock gift.

Smart Phone Giving

You can now give to Christ Church via your smart phone. It is quick, easy and secure using the CHURCH LIFE app available in the app store. Download instructions for using smart phone giving.

Gifts of Time and Talent

Christ Church is a parish with many ministries. We encourage you not only to worship with us weekly but also to become involved and spend your time in community with us. If you are not sure where to start but would like to give of your time and talents, let us help you get connected. Contact Frances Poe, Director of Faith in Action.

Flower Memorials

Gifts of Altar Flowers in the Church or Markley Chapel can be given in memory of someone who has died or in thanksgiving for an occasion of celebration. Altar flower gifts are recognized in the bulletin on the weekend of their placement.
