Faith Development: Young Adults


YouthBase Thanksgiving Dinner: Thursday, November 15, 5:30 - 7:30 PM
Young Adult small groups, families, and individuals are asked to please make a holiday casserole, side dish, or treat to be brought to the church on Thursday, November 15 by 5:00 PM. Young Adult Volunteers will deliver the meal and serve as hosts for the Holiday Family Dinner at YouthBase. Interested in cooking for or serving the meal? Contact Catie Hancock.

Young Adult Christmas Party: Friday, December 7, 6:30 - 8:30 PM
McKissick Refectory and McCall Parlor
Join us for an evening of food and fellowship! Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be provided by chef Karen for $10 per person. Childcare is $5 per family. RSVP online by Wednesday, November 28. 

Young Adult Women's Bible Study Led by The Rev. Kellie Wilson
The 2nd Tuesday of every month

Whether you are fresh out of college or a mother with small children, this is the Bible study for you! Join other young adult women as we study various topics from the Bible, in order to grow in our faith and knowledge of scripture. Taught by The Rev. Kellie Wilson. Please contact Holtie Mitchell for location. Dates are as follows:
October 30 | November 7 | November 27 | December 11 | January 15 | January 29
Beginning in February 2019, women will meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays

Young Adult Menís Bible Study Led by The Rev. Jay Biedenharn
Meets off campus twice a month

Whether you are fresh out of college or a father with small children, this is the Bible study for you! Join other young adult men as we study various topics from the Bible, in order to grow in our faith and knowledge of scripture. Please contact Lana Sims for location. Dates are as follows:

Welcome to the Young Adult Ministry at Christ Church! This vibrant, active ministry keeps our members, ages 22 - 39, connected and involved. The Young Adults participate in a variety of social events, volunteer opportunities and family-friendly special events throughout the year. Christ Church has a wonderful Children's Ministry for Young Adults with children from birth - 5th grade. We also have a wide range of worship services and Sunday School classes to help you grow in faith, build relationships and be an event bigger part of our joyful community sharing life in Jesus Christ.
 


Small Groups are a great opportunity to develop closer relationships with other parishioners who are similar in age or at a similar stage in life. Many small groups continue meeting for many years and members grow to be close friends who celebrate life's milestones together. All Young Adults are encouraged to be a part of a Small Group.
