Faith Development: Young Adults

Let us not love in word or speech but in deed and truth - 1 John 3:18

Our Young Adults Ministry keeps our members, ages 22 - 39, connected and involved. The young adults are a vibrant group of individuals building a foundation of faith and fellowship as Christ's disciples through social events, Sunday School classes, outreach programs and much more.

Christ Church Young Adults Ministry is a solid foundation for growth in relationships, spirituality, and service. I can count on this group to provide great opportunities for involvement in both the church and the community. - Kathryn Hix

Faith in Action: YouthBASE

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.
Matthew 25:35

The Young Adults focus our missions on our outreach efforts with YouthBASE, a non-profit organization that works with approximately 20 children in a multi-faceted intensive after-school program that provides a multi-dimensional "BASE" (Behavioral, Academic, Social, Emotional/ Intrapersonal) of support to children struggling with behavioral issues within the Greenville community.

The Young Adults have committed to providing and serving dinner to the YouthBASE kids from the Sterling Neighborhood the third Monday of each month. We also take the kids on occasional field trips. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact Frances Poe.

Schedule
5:30 PM: Meet in the Parish House kitchen to prepare food or play games with the kids.
6:30 PM: Serve Dinner
