Alpha is for anyone that has questions about life, meaning, purpose
or faith. Alpha takes you through a series of sessions exploring the
basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different
question around faith, and the talks are designed to create conversation
in small groups afterwards. It’s totally free, it’s run all over the
globe, and regardless of background or beliefs, EVERYONE is welcome!
Alpha offers:
- Connection: Connecting with others is what we were made for. All sessions start with a time to connect and build friendships, eliminate awkwardness and creating space for important conversations
- Content: Alpha’s content explores the big questions we all ask, and guests from any background can unpack the basics of Christian faith. Bring your questions, you’ll find you’re not alone
- Conversation: Those who attend Alpha share that their small group discussions are hands-down the best part of the experience. No questions are off limits and there’s nothing you can’t say (really)
Put simply, Alpha helps create a space for honest conversation around some of life’s biggest questions. Join us for this 11-week series on Wednesdays, September 9 through November 18. The evening will include supper, a talk followed by small-group discussion.
We love having the whole family involved! While children's
programming is available for younger children, middle and high school
students are invited to experience Alpha by joining a discussion table
with their peers, led by Joleen Nelson, our Youth Director.

Sample Schedule for an Alpha Evening
- 5:45 PM | Arrival & Dinner Check in, pick up dinner for yourself and your children, and find your table.
- 6:00 PM | Welcome & Blessing We'll gather together to begin the evening with a welcome, blessing and introductions.
- 6:05 PM | Alpha Talk Each week features an engaging video exploring a different aspect of the Christian faith.
- 6:30 PM | Short Break
- 6:35 PM | Small Group Discussion Share your thoughts, ask questions, and hear from others in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
- 7:15 PM | Dismissal We'll wrap up on time so you can head home with the rest of your evening ahead of you.
