Bicentennial Embrace Efforts Report

To live into the Embrace portion of our mission statement during our Bicentennial Celebration, we set a goal to connect, in a meaningful way, with each member of our parish. Each parishioner should know that he or she is welcome and needed at Christ Church.
As of today, 84% of our over 4,000 members have been “embraced”!

Our Embrace effort included hundreds of hours from hundreds of volunteers:

Planning strategies to connect with each parishioner, whether an active member or someone we only see occasionally, child or senior adult, in town or away at college;
Assembling the embrace items for delivery; and
Delivering embrace messages and items
