Christ Church announces sabbatical for the Rev. Kellie Wilson, January 2 - March 27

Through the generosity of this parish, the Rev. Kellie Wilson has been granted a 12-week sabbatical. The sabbatical takes place January 2 through March 27.

The defined purpose of a sabbatical is to allow time to step away temporarily from one’s routine workday in order to return to work rejuvenated and ready to be focused, faithful. and enthusiastic about the future. Kellie has been at Christ Church for 4 ½ years, in church ministry for 23 years, and has never taken a sabbatical. She has expressed her hope that God allow her to serve at Christ Church many more years. After her dedicated service during Harrison’s summer sabbatical, it is an appropriate time to provide her with the same opportunity. Kellie will spend her time with family and in silent retreat.

While she is gone, several local clergy have offered to serve at some of our regular worship services to support Fr. Harrison and Fr. Scott. While gone, Faith Development questions may be directed to Addie Tapp at atapp@ccgsc.org or 864.282.3116.
