Infant through 5th grade
At Christ Church, we believe children are not simply the church of tomorrow; they are the church of today. Children’s Ministry nurtures children from infancy through 5th grade as they grow in faith, build relationships and discover their place in the life of the church. Through worship, learning, fellowship and service, children are encouraged to know and experience the love of Jesus Christ and to take an active part in our faith community.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH | DURING 10:30 AM SERVICES
Children 1st grade and younger are invited to Children’s Church for a lesson and worship designed especially for them. Children return to their families before Communion.
NURSERY | DURING 10:30 AM SERVICES
Nursery care is available on Sunday mornings for infants and young children, providing a safe and welcoming environment while parents and caregivers participate in worship and formation. Learn more about the Nursery →
Programs & Opportunities
Children in 2nd through 5th grade and their parents or godparents are invited to an afternoon of hands-on learning about the sacrament of Holy Eucharist and our baptismal vows. Together, we’ll explore the traditions and holy things of the church, make a beaded bracelet to learn the order of service and even try on priestly vestments!
A few weeks later, participants will celebrate the Eucharist together, followed by a special brunch for family and friends where each child will receive a Bible from Christ Church.

Our inter-church basketball league offers children and youth in 5K through 12th grade an opportunity for fun, fellowship and friendly competition. Registration takes place each fall. Learn more about Basketball at Christ Church →
Children of all ages are invited to help tell the Christmas story during our annual Christmas Pageant, a beloved Christ Church tradition that takes place on Christmas Eve. Registration and rehearsal information is shared each fall.
Cub Scout Pack 511 is open to children in Primer/Kindergarten through 4th grade, offering opportunities for adventure, service, skill-building and fun. Contact Leigh Ellen Gray at leighellen.gray@gmail.com.
Children can explore their musical gifts through the Church Street Choral Academy and seasonal opportunities including St. Cecilia Choir, with opportunities to sing during worship throughout the year.
Each summer, children are invited to a fun-filled week of Bible stories, music, games, crafts and activities as they learn and grow in faith together. Registration opens each spring.
