Rising 7th through 12th graders: Sign up to be VBS Youth Helper! We're also looking for adult volunteers to come play with the kids as they explore God's word through games, stories and crafts. Reach out to Cara Horn for more details.
Christ Church Community Garden
This is a great way to get involved at church if you love being outside and getting your hands dirty! The garden, located up the hill on Broadus near the Scout Hut, was an Eagle Scout project. The kitchen ministry beds have been planted thanks to a generous parishioner and his wife who said the garden is a “game changer!" We still have more raised beds available if you're ready to plant something green! Want to get involved? Contact Cindy Poe.
Daily Devotional Ministry
We’re looking for volunteers to help solicit other friends and members to write at least two daily prayers and then enter those prayers into the email program. Email Fay Towell or Bud Thomas to help with the Daily Devotional.
Live Stream Team
Come learn a new skill that helps us broadcast services to those who can’t join us in person on Sunday mornings! If you’d like to see how live-streaming is done, join us on the balcony on Sunday during the 10:30AM service. This exciting ministry is open to all! Email Dick Dobbins to learn more about the Live Stream Team.
Wedding Guild
The Wedding Guild is a volunteer group of men and women who assist at wedding rehearsals and services. It takes about three hours, rehearsal and wedding combined, usually on a Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon or evening. Members of this fun and rewarding lay ministry are the first to celebrate new couples and help them begin their married lives in a meaningful way. Email Chan Boyd to learn more about the Wedding Guild.
Welcoming Ministries Team
Help grow our joyful community! We’re looking for parishioners who want to engage with Newcomers and assist with our welcoming and membership process. Click here to sign up! For more information, contact Carrie Moore.
Youth Working Committee
A big part of our youth program is the work that happens behind the scenes. Our Youth Working Committee meets once a month and we discuss all things youth, from our actives, to calendars, to ideas on what we need to make this program the best! We are looking for people to join this committee to get new ideas and help with running the show. You do not have to be a parent of a teen to join! Email Joleen Nelson to be part of the Youth Working Committee.
