Vestry

In the Episcopal Church, the Vestry is the group of lay members elected by their fellow members to serve with the Rector (head priest) as the leadership and governing body of the church. Through an annual retreat, and monthly and other special meetings, the Rector and Vestry are responsible to set and oversee the vision of ministry for the church, and to conduct the business of the church as required by canon or civil law.

Vestry Elections

Serving as a lay leader of Christ Church is an opportunity to help lead and embody our mission to Embrace, Equip and Empower Apostles to Serve Jesus Christ. This year, we’ll elect a Senior Warden, Junior Warden, four Vestry members and one Convention Delegate.

Vestry elections open Sunday, October 25. Electronic voting closes Friday, November 13 at 4 PM. In-person voting will remain open until the close of the Annual Meeting on Sunday, November 15.
