Supporting whole-person wellness
Christ Church Wellness Ministry supports the well-being of our parish through programs, groups and resources focused on emotional, mental, spiritual, relational and physical health. Through conversation, education and community, we seek to help one another live healthy, connected and faithful lives.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. … You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Mark 12:30–31

Navigating the high, low and mid tides of life
First Tuesday of the month | 12-1 PM | Thomas Library
Life has a way of shifting beneath our feet. Seasons change. Roles evolve. Loss, growth, uncertainty, and new beginnings can leave us feeling unsteady. Changing Tides is a group for those navigating life’s changes and its in between times with conflicting emotions. Together we will share our joys and struggles, listen deeply, and seek Christ’s steady presence in the midst of change. You don’t have to walk this season alone. Changing Tides meets the first Tuesday of every month from September through May.
Wednesdays | 12-1 PM | Graham Library
Come and celebrate your Body, Mind & Spirit with Chair Yoga, taught by Instructor Doug Kawakami ERYT-500, YACEP. Chair Yoga is a gentle, low-impact class appropriate for all fitness levels. Using the support of a chair, participants will explore breath awareness, flexibility, balance, and strength in a safe and accessible way. This class encourages mindful movement, gentle stretching, and a deeper connection to your body—meeting you exactly where you are. A typical class may include seated and supported standing movements to improve mobility, posture, and balance, along with calming meditations to help regulate the nervous system. All are welcome. $35 for entire 6-week series. Visit our Events & Registrations Page to find the current Chair Yoga series and register.
The first Wednesday of each month, Wellness Coordinator Greta Parkinson shares her wisdom and insight from over 20 years experience in her Well Words Wednesday blog post. Make sure you check it out!
