Rector’s Forum
Live: 9:30 AM, McKissick Refectory

Recorded: Video released Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM
Our Rector, The Reverend Dr. Harrison McLeod, teaches weekly in this lecture and conversation format. We will spend the fall looking into the soaring language and profound theology of Paul’s Letter to the church in Ephesus. From his faith, his baptismal understanding, his theology of community - all aspects of this beautiful letter will be discussed with particular attention to the way in which it applies to our modern lives.
(Please note: the recorded version of the Forum will be a condensed presentation of the previous Sunday's discussion.)

You may hear The Rector's Forum lessons offered during the pandemic by visiting The Rector's Forum Playlist on YouTube.

Faith Perspectives for Adults
9:00 - 10:15 AM, Room 223, Parish House

Join in a lively discussion of Jesus Today, A Spirituality of Radical Freedom, by Albert Nolan; Orbis Books: 2006 (paperback around $13.99)
All are welcome, come join us! In this book the Dominican priest, teacher, and writer Albert Nolan takes us back to Jesus and his time. After surveying the signs of the present times and the challenges we all face, Nolan writes clearly and concisely how Jesus’s practical spirituality can be a guiding light, right now, for us or for anyone immersed in the busyness of this world. Jesus had a deep and intentional relationship with his Father, and in his life experienced a radical spiritual freedom. We can imitate Jesus’ spirituality, enter into our own personal transformation, and experience a spiritual oneness with God, our fellow human beings, and with the universe.
